The Data Link Manager allows you to create, manage, and edit your data links. This is the simplest representation, but not widely used since the face and edge information is implicit. See Baumgart for more details.

You will have to make sure you have Microsoft Excel installed on your machine for data linking to work, but the end result is worth that pretty small hassle. Furthermore, corner-tables do not represent meshes completely. Star allows the user to create a customised star shape, constructed dynamically using a polyline object. This is in essence the triangle fan used in hardware graphics rendering. With face-vertex meshes it is easy to find the vertices of a face.
